Megan Montaner: "I am energetic, restless, cheerful"
By Europa Press for periodistadigital.com, 7th October 2014
The pretty Megan Montaner finds happiness doing cinema and especially comedies, the actress explains to us. Also, she confesses that it has been good to work with Hugo Silva.
Megan, ‘Gods and Dogs’. What you think you are more, God or dog?
I think that we are all a little dog, but you have to discover who the gods are and who the dogs are so doubt is sown.
Are there gods and dogs in the world?
I think that it is fraught.
Tell us about your role.
Adela is a teacher from Santander who accidentally ends up in a school in Madrid and is in chaos, her life is a constant hurricane. She is very positive, very energetic despite everyone else. In time she finds solutions to her problems, is the fleck of colour in her companions’ lives.
Are you like her?
Yes. The two of us are very energetic, restless, and cheerful.
In the fiction you arrive in Hugo Silva’s life which is messed up.
That is what we have to ask, who would mess up someone’s life, and hopefully in a good way.
What would a project have to have for you to accept?
It has to have a good story, after having confidence in the director, how it moves and its quality. In this case I accepted it, as I’ve never done anything before that had a touch of comedy in it. Before it I had done dramas and I said that I wanted to change it up a little bit, be current and laugh a little.
‘Sin Identidad’, second season.
It’s great. The truth is that filming is going excellently, and you have an eager to film. The revenge is hard to get, but it’s good revenge.
Recently actor Pedro Peña, Lydia Bosch’s [Lydia stars in ‘Sin Identidad’ alongside Megan] co-star in the series ‘Médico de familia’, passed away.
With any loss, there is no happiness, or any good moments. I didn’t know him personally but it is this industry’s loss.
What other projects do you have?
In April we are going forward with a comedy.
You are beginning to get a taste [in the comedy genre].
Yes, I am beginning to get a taste in movies and to laugh [at them].
Do you support Spanish cinema?
Of course, and that is why we are here.

Be inspired by Megan Montaner and the casual-chic look
By Maqui Bourgon for Woman Madame Figaro, 21st January 2015
And there is no need to complicate your life when getting dressed each day.
Simply get a hold of a couple of your basic items in your wardrobe and update them with this trend for a fresh look as chic and wearable as Megan Montaner’s.
She has chosen a poncho/cape/coat, a must have this season. In addition it is warm and especially comfortable and easy to carry on blazers or American ... If you do not have one, and trust me and include it in your wish list of 2nd rebates.
But beware! Despite its benefits, the poncho or coat is a double-edged sword, especially for you are ample of kilos or short of stature. If this is your case, I recommend that, before deciding [to buy], take a look here.
In these cases, with a robe coat or parka with fur-trimmed hood, you will achieve the same current touch without collateral damage to your silhouette.
Now. . .look to Megan!
So chic and she has become casual without sacrificing an ounce of style by simply choosing a flat boots.
If instead she had opted for shoe heels or sandals, the effect would have been radically changed. The styling would be more than adequate to attend an afternoon or evening event where normally the dress code tends to be more demanding.
And it is that however formal or informal to be a garment or accessory, the final effect of the look depends entirely on the whole combination of mix & match items.
Megan, who has very good [body] type and boasts a waist, chose a camel leather belt in contrast to the dark tone of her trousers and acts as sensor image on that area.
In case you have a gut, are short or have a low waist and want to disguise it, I advise you to choose discreet eye-catching belt buckles and not many ornaments in the same colour as the garment bottom.
This way you get to correct those small little defects and have a much slimmer-looking figure.
As you see it is a very adaptable and versatile look that can even be worn to work, provided the profile of your job and the company permit it.
In my page wwwmaquibourgon.com you have many outfits in which inspire you to get dressed every day as it isn't a headache ... Be sure to visit.
